Oasis approached Dalvie Systems with the requirement of a multitier pick tower racking project, at their new 47,000 square feet records management centre in Craigavon, Ireland. As a previous client of Dalvie Systems, Oasis Group had already experienced the high standards of installation and customer service that Dalvie delivers, and entrusted Dalvie to be the one to deliver one of their biggest projects.
From the very beginning, Dalvie worked closely with Oasis to create a design that utilised the entirety of their space and ensuring all their requirements were met. Dalvie’s design and project team spent the time to understand their business processes, to ensure the multitier racking system enhanced the way they work. Taking into consideration the complex layout, to maximise the full potential of the space and provide an efficient solution for their file storage services.
The project ran for 14-weeks, with a team of 10 men to build the multi-level pick tower racking installation. Through regular meetings and continuous communication, Oasis Group’s Silverwood project ran to the specific project timelines provided.
The final multitier pick tower racking system was complete, along with integrated goods lifts, mesh decks, steel grated walkways and secure mesh enclosures.

When asked about the project and his work with Dalvie Systems, the Commercial Director at PHS Records Management said:
“We’ve worked with Dalvie Systems on many projects over the years, some of which have included archive storage systems and perhaps most recently, the design and installation of temperature controlled, fire proof deed rooms at three of our sites.”
“Each and every time, the team at Dalvie Systems have created a bespoke and successful solution with careful thought and consideration going into each project.”
“Having multiple sites which are situated all over the country, it was essential that our storage provider could assist and support us on a national scale – Dalvie offered complete flexibility in this area.”
“When it came to our deed rooms we required a bespoke solution. The specification called for a temperature-controlled room with a four-hour fire rating and a gas suppression extinguishing system. Dalvie designed and installed our deed rooms ensuring that our documents would remain safe for up to four hours in the event of a fire. They also supplied us with an effective mobile, archive-shelving solution to make the most of the space provided.”
“Exceptional service was another deciding factor which led us to choose Dalvie Systems as our preferred storage provider. Their friendly approach, attention to detail and ability to provide bespoke and unique solutions have led to the formation of a trusting relationship between our companies.”
When asked about the project and how it was managed, Goods-In and Dispatch Manager, revealed:
“The department was awarded the opportunity to increase its pallet holding in what is really a very small space. With the patience and help of Tom and his team, we managed to achieve our target with room to spare – and one week ahead of schedule!”
“We spent lots of time planning and even revisited certain areas to re-think our options in order to come up with the most feasible and effective layout.”
“The installation team were excellent too, we were in constant communication with them – always working ahead to keep the down time to a bare minimum.”
“Since the installation was completed we have used Dalvie Systems on one other project and have several more in the pipeline.”
“I have no hesitation in recommending Tom, Shaun and the Dalvie team to anybody.”
The Branch Manager, was extremely pleased with the work. They said:
“After careful consideration, Dalvie Systems were chosen to provide us with a storage solution for our new 60,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Cradley Heath.”
“The project required the successful integration of existing shelving and pallet racking from our old site, and the provision of a new layout of pallet racking which could be purchased in phases. It was imperative that our business continued to operate throughout the integration to the new facility.”
“I’m delighted to say that Dalvie systems provided the assurances and delivered a successful integration into our new site and have continued to support us by providing additional phases of racking when required.”
The warehouse now boasts 220 bays of pallet racking from Dalvie, complete with mesh decks and column guards, as well as in excess of 700 short-span shelving bays for storing other, smaller products.
